Treatment Area and Hospital

Treatment Room
TREATMENT

This part of our hospital is the center of all the medical action. When a pet is first admitted into the hospital it is processed in the treatment area. The patient is assigned to a nurse and any treatments or diagnostic tests ordered by one of our doctors is put on the treatment board.

The treatment board gets quite busy at times. Our nurses are able to determine which pets need treatment at just a glance.
Patients admitted to the hospital are given a comfortable cage or run appropriate to their size. Each patient is assigned a nurse upon arrival to care for them throughout the day. There is also an inpatient nurse whose sole duty is to care for our patients throughout the day to ensure they receive optimum care and comfort. You may call to speak to your pet's nurse at any time throughout the day to check on your pet.

Goodbyes before heading home
At the time of discharge from the hospital each patient is "Fluffed & Puffed". This means they are brushed out, given a bandanna to wear home and receive a spritz of pet perfume.
