Kaki Lankau

After attending a few years of college in North Carolina, Kaki chose to go on sabbatical for two years in the U.S.Virgin Islands. She discovered how living the life of leisure might have been wonderful, but it wasn't quite enough. After returing to the U.S. she completed her college education, became a Licensed Veterinary Technician and began her veterinary career in California. For two years she worked in general and emergency medicine practices in California before moving to Maryland to work in a specialty practice with oncology patients. She made her move to South Carolina in 1996 and immediately joined The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek and partners with Dr. Kerwin to manage our facility. In her spare time she is an avid reader and enjoys cooking. Kaki lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband Paul, daughter Lindsay and their dogs, Grady, Luke, and Remley.

Rebecca Alderman, LVT
Technical Director

Rebecca joined our team in October 2002. She is a 2003 graduate of TTC's Veterinary Technology Program.  Rebecca really enjoys working with our toy breed patients and behavior cases. In her spare time she spends her time enjoying the fantastic weather here in the lowcountry - hiking, camping, and fishing. She lives in Hanahan with her fiancee, Kurt and their children: Alyssa, Jennifer,  and Tony. She has 3 chihuahuas: Ripley, Freckle, and Tab,  and a mutt, Snickers as well as a leopard gecko named Bob, a ball python named Fuzzy and a tarantula named Maitika.

Christopher Purdy - Boarding Director

Christopher is a new addition to the Bed and Biscuit and AMC Team.  A transport from the Upstate of South Carolina, he moved to Charleston in 2007. He is a graduate of Anderson University with a BS in Human Resource Management. After nearly 13 years in retail management and HR he decided to pursue a different passion; since as a child he had grown up on a farm surrounded by animals.  He has one very adorable dog named Abby, who was adopted from the Shih Tzu rescue.  His free time is filled with hobbies such as gardening with a love of plants, refinishing antique furniture and taking in as much "beach time" as he can fit in.
