Our goal is to be the very best possible primary care veterinary hospital. We provide personalized, modern, thoughtful medical care for your pets from their first puppy or kitten wellness visits through a healthy adulthood and keeping them comfortable, happy and healthy for as many golden years as possible. 

Preventive medicine is key to  preventing disease from beginning or progressing by providing appropriate medical care before disease has begun or when it is still in early stages. We emphasize providing the best preventive medicine possible so that your pet can live a long, healthy life.

Many diseases are completely preventable with appropriate wellness care such as vaccinations, weight control, dental cleaning and parasite (flea, tick, intestinal parasties and heartworm) testing, annual labwork to evaluate organ function,  and control medications. Other diseases can be caught early (through exam, blood or urine testing and/or other tests) so that they can be managed through diet or medication before they progress to more severe disease. Animal Medical Clinic is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. While our excellent veterinarians provide the very best primary veterinary care possible, we refer to excellent local board certified specialists when needed.

Regular professional dental care is important to maintaining your pet's teeth and protecting your pet's health. A thorough examination of your pet's mouth is an important part of every Well Pet Visit.  Dental cleanings are recommended as needed based on your pet's dental health.

We are well equipped with the diagnostic tools necessary to properly evaluate your pet's medical condition. We offer comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including X-rays, intraoral x-rays,  electrocardiography (ECG), blood pressure monitoring. These tools help our veterinarians evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular (cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. 

Our comprehensive in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize a commercial and university veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.  

Our pharmacy provides an extensive inventory of pharmaceuticals, shampoos and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We will mail your prescription refills if desired.

For the convenience of our clients, we provide pet boarding and grooming at the Bed and Biscuit.
